Pasta / Pizza Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
2 tsp of chopped garlic
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 large onion chopped
2 tins of chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato puree
1 tsp of sugar
Sea salt and ground pepper
2 tsp of oregano
1 tsp nutmeg
1 bay leaf
Method
1. In a large frying pan add the oil and fry the onion over a low heat for 10 minutes until the become clear
2. Add the garlic and stir in for a minute or so then add the tomatoes and the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil
3. Reduce the heat to a slow simmer for around 30 minutes until its reduced down to thick sauce
